Our latest updates are live. Read on to see what’s new, and to register for our next webinar.
New dashboard enhancements allow for custom asset and user views to be displayed front and center.
We’ve updated dashboard layout options to allow for custom asset and user views to be displayed on your dashboard when you log into Incident IQ. Previously, dashboard custom views were limited to ticket-related views only. This update makes it easier to access the views that matter to you most.

To add a custom view to your dashboard, navigate to Options underneath the profile drop-down in the upper-right corner of Incident IQ, and your dashboard layout will be displayed. Scroll down and select the custom view you want displayed, select the width you’d like it displayed at, and the view will be added to your dashboard.

Manually sync individual assets with new Google Devices integration update.
Users (with the appropriate permissions) can now initiate syncs of individual assets from a device’s asset details page.

To enable this feature, admins need to turn on any of the pictured writeback options, or have a field that syncs from Incident IQ to Google Device Data. Once these writeback options are enabled, users can initiate a sync by selecting Push Data from a device’s asset details page.

Our data importer now supports custom fields for location data.
Users can now import and map custom field data when importing locations into Incident IQ. Importing custom field location data works like other data imports. Add the desired columns into your CSV spreadsheet, upload the spreadsheet into Incident IQ, then select which Incident IQ fields the data will map to.

Starting April 24, Incident IQ will no longer support TLS 1.0/1.1
A quick security update to mention — starting April 24, Incident IQ will no longer support browsers using TLS 1.0 and 1.1.
If you’re using a modern browser, there’s no action needed. However, if there are users in your district accessing Incident IQ through a legacy browser still using TLS 1.0-1.1, they will need to switch to an up-do-date internet browser.

Coming April 8: New Forms Manager update allows forms to be included as part of the ticket submission process.
We’ve enhanced our Forms Manager app to allow for easy form submissions alongside a ticket submission. Previously, forms could only be attached and submitted after a help ticket was submitted, but this update allows admins to embed forms as part of the ticket submission process.
To add a form to the ticket submission process, first you’ll need to create a new custom field. Navigate to Admin > Custom Fields and select New Custom Field. Select iiQ Form Submission as the Field Type, then select the form you’d like to use. Once you’ve created the custom field, navigate to the Tickets tab to designate the conditions under which the custom field will be displayed.
Note: Forms Manager is a premium app, which your district will need to have in order to embed forms into the ticket submission process.

See these updates in action at our next webinar.
We’ll be hosting our next webinar on Thursday, March 30 at 2pm ET.
Tune in as we review the latest Incident IQ updates, and discuss some helpful tips when preparing for year-end student device collection.
