What’s New in Incident IQ: Jan/Feb 2024 Enhancements

Our first enhancements of the new year are live on the platform. Read on to see what’s arrived, and to register for our upcoming webinar.

Make sure every step is accounted for with automatic subtask creation.

Subtasks can now be automatically created and applied to subtickets through enhanced Ticket Template and Rules Engine actions. This new functionality allows for greater granularity when creating workflows, making it simple to ensure that essential subtasks are attached to tickets.

This feature is available for all Incident IQ modules — to see how to set up automatic subtask creation, see our guide over in iiQ Community.

iiQ Events: Better manage external event requestors with streamlined user and organization registration.

New enhancements to user and organization management allow district admins to efficiently review and approve new organizations, customize information collected from external organizations, manage event request permissions for specific organizations, and better maintain insurance and other paperwork for external organizations.

For more information on enabling External Event Registration,
check out our Community guide here.

New Fee Tracker functionality in iiQ Events streamlines event billing by allowing administrators to easily add and manage fees for events. It introduces multiple fee types and rates, customizable fee schedules based on event and organization filters, and integration with various payment apps. This functionality simplifies administrative tasks, enhances billing accuracy, and offers flexible fee management for various event types.

Reserve rooms over multiple days using new
multi-day event reservation functionality.

iiQ Events now supports multi-day event reservations. This functionality allows users to effortlessly reserve resources for events spanning days or weeks. It simplifies the process of managing long-term events by eliminating the need to make separate room reservations for each day.

Coming Soon: A new Incident IQ search experience.

Enhanced Global Search is a new search experience in Incident IQ. From ticket comments to custom views, everything is searchable, indexed, and very snappy.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be rolling out Enhanced Global Search to districts. If you’d like to get a sneak peek at what Enhanced Global Search is like, register for our next webinar.
