Our latest enhancements are now live. Read on to see what’s arrived this month, register for our upcoming Office Hours and webinar events, and make plans to come join Incident IQ at ISTE.

Syncing a Google device now automatically pushes and pulls device metadata.
When Admin initiates a manual “push” sync for an individual asset from the asset details page, the metadata displayed for that device within Incident IQ automatically refreshes after the push sync completes.
This enhancement helps agents ensure that device information is up-to-date, without having to switch between platforms to double-check that a sync has been successful.

Automatic verifications for Intune and Filewave
are now available.
Streamline device audits and ensure that student devices are in-use and in working order. Districts using these integrations now have easier visibility of the devices a user has recently accessed, as well as the verification history of these devices.

New rule actions allow automatic device verification when
checking devices in or out.
Combine your asset audits with device distribution with new rules that will add a verification action when a device is checked out to a user, or returned at the end of a semester.

New Rollout Scout permissions give users the ability to assign devices without being an agent in Incident IQ.
A new permission has been added to our permission policies that allows users of any role (requestor/agent/admin) to be granted Rollout Scout check-out/check-in permissions in a click.
If you’re an administrator looking to add this permission to a user account, navigate to Admin > Permissions, select the Assets tab, and select the Batch Check-in/Check-out permission for the relevant user or permissions policy.

New Microsoft Office 365 Calendar and BigTeams
integrations are now available.
Keep staff on the same page when it comes to upcoming events using our new integrations for Microsoft Office 365 and BigTeams. These integrations are for districts using iiQ Events to manage district event reservation and scheduling.
Not using iiQ Events and iiQ Facilities to manage building operations in your district? Learn more about how the combination of these tools can transform event preparation and maintenance operations in your school facilities.

Reminder: All sites will be migrated to the new Incident IQ nav experience on July 8.
Hundreds of iiQ districts have already migrated to our new left nav for agents and administrators. On July 8, we will be migrating remaining districts to the new navigation experience.
If administrators would like to turn on the new nav ahead of the July 8 migration date, navigate to Admin > Site Options > Usability > Agent Navigation Experience and select v2 from the dropdown menu.
Note: changing this option will enable the new left nav for all agents and admins in your district.

Heading to ISTE in Philadelphia this year?
Make time to come visit the Incident IQ booth.
Edtech’s biggest show of the year is right around the corner — ISTELive 23 will be in Philadelphia from June 25-28. If you’re heading to the show, block off some time to pay a visit to the Incident IQ booth.
Check out our ISTE show page to book a 1:1 district success consult with our team, and to see what we’ve got planned for Incident IQ’s biggest ISTE yet.

Stop by our Office Hours to chat about the latest enhancements.
Our next Office Hours event is on Wednesday June 14 at 1:00 pm ET, where we’ll be taking user questions and talking through the latest iiQ updates.

Pass it on: Our Incident IQ HR webinar is next month.
Next month we’re debuting a bit of a different webinar — FLSA Essentials for K-12 School Districts. We asked Valerie Suessmith, former Chief Human Resources Officer at Henry County Schools, to join us to discuss a topic that’s vital but frequently overlooked by K-12 HR teams — the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Pass this invite to your school’s HR office to join us as we discuss how the FLSA applies to every district, and things that every K-12 department should consider.
