What’s New in Incident IQ – April 2019

April 2019 Release|april webinar banner|

We’ve been hard at work to bring you some additional tools that we think will be enormously useful for districts completing end-of-semester device collections and audits. The following features will be live in Incident IQ on Monday, April 22nd. No action is required on your part.

Bulk Scanning Operations

Agents can now scan devices in bulk, and make changes to multiple devices in one operation. Scan a room full of devices, and change their status or location all at once. Create new views or custom filters from a group of scanned devices, and with Asset Management Pro, devices can be audited in bulk as well.

Scan to Filter

When creating custom views and filters, agents can now scan devices or student IDs to input those values directly into the filtering selection tool. This allows for quicker input, with less typing. Just scan the desired assets or IDs, and you can create filters and views with one click. Values can also be copied directly from a text or CSV file, and pasted into the filter designer.

Asset Importer Enhancements

The asset importer has been enhanced with support for generating new asset tags from an import. The importer will also allow users to update asset tags for duplicate entries.

Custom Names for Ticket Wizards

Admins can now apply custom names to ticket wizards in Incident IQ. For example, an admin could change the name of the “Networking/WiFi” ticket wizard to “Connectivity”. This allows admins greater flexibility in tailoring ticket wizards to match a district’s vocabulary.
