Incident IQ™ takes the Student Privacy Pledge
ATLANTA (June 27, 2017) — In partnership with the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) and the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), Lexicon K-12 Solutions has taken the Student Privacy Pledge to ensure the new Incident IQ help desk platform protects student data. As part of the pledge, Incident IQ has met a dozen legal commitments regarding the collection, maintenance, and use of student personal information.

The Incident IQ cloud platform and mobile app have built-in features to safeguard student privacy and assist schools comply with state and federal law. These features include the ability to automatically suppress email messaging for communications containing protected student data, as well as tools to help school districts quickly compile all data related to a particular student to ensure compliance with state and federal law.
By taking the Student Privacy Pledge, Lexicon is held to twelve legally enforceable commitments to affirm that K-12 student information is kept private and secure. The Pledge has been endorsed by former President Obama, the National PTA, and the National School Boards Association.
